Maria Sharapova has been dating Alexander Gilker for three years now. The Russian player hopes to become mother one day. If that happens, the Russian player does not think she will come back to compete like Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka did.
“I’ve dreamed of having a family since I was very young because I’m very close to my mom and to my parents”, said Sharapova. “I would love to have that connection in the future with hopefully my child. I don’t see myself having a child and then coming back.

I think that’s three weeks in a row. Wishful thinking probably. Would love to, to come out of that and be healthy. Dreams.”
